About — Helga Guðrún

Helga Guðrún is an Icelandic visual artist (b.1998). She holds a bachelor degree in fine arts from the Iceland University of the Arts (2023). She works with performanceses art, videoworks and painting. Her art confronts our inner conflicts with a rebellious spirit. The rebellion showing up in her raw outcome. Vibrant colors, disfigured tabels and low cost materials. Using curtains, tabel cloths and duvet covers to make a canvas. (f.e. vorum við ekki búinn að ræða þetta?)
